This past weekend we were on our way to go and get breakfast at a coffee shop when I remembered a new restaurant had opened up close to where we lived that we had wanted to try. We walked into the Smith Cafe and immediately were impressed with the new decor and look of the place, we were immediately greeted and sat by a friendly staff member and we immediately loved the menu.
Now Eddie was overly hungry when we got there so he was near melt down point, thankfully our waiter was able to get him some milk and orange juice and he calmed down quickly. Now I am a huge fan of corn beef hash and 90% of the time if it’s on a breakfast menu I will order it, This case was no different I saw the hash and immediately knew what I was getting, Eddie went with a pancake, avocado slices and bacon, I have learned not to question what he wants rather just go with it and know he eats healthy, now my wife was in heaven a real traditional English breakfast, baked beans, poached eggs, sausage, tomatoes, portabella mushroom and toast. The Smith Cafe took over for Acacia Cafe after it closed, Acacia cafe was a great little mom and pop breakfast place that you always knew you were going to get a good meal and a smile with it. If this first experience at the Smith Cafe is any indication then they will take over perfectly. Great food and service was a great way to start the day.
